WestJet has settled a $12.5 million class action lawsuit over improperly charged baggage fees. Passengers who paid for a first checked bag between 2014 and 2019 may be eligible for compensation in the form of WestJet Travel Bank credits. Claims must be submitted online or by mail before February 20, 2025 (Tentative).
