The IRS will soon send stimulus payments to 1 million taxpayers who missed claiming the Recovery Rebate Credit in 2021. Payments, up to $1,400, will be automatically sent by the IRS starting December 2024. Eligible taxpayers don’t need to take any action, and payments will arrive by late January 2025. For those who didn’t file in 2021, the deadline to do so is April 15, 2025.
